Dr. Hassanein is an Egyptian lawyer and legal scholar holding a PhD in Law, with a career that bridges judicial service, private practice, and international leadership. He began as a magistrate, gaining strong expertise in judicial reasoning and procedural integrity, before transitioning to legal practice. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Hassanein & Partners Law Firm, a Cairo-based full-service firm advising domestic and international clients across corporate and commercial law, international trade, banking and financial regulation, investment and compliance, litigation and arbitration, criminal and white-collar defense, administrative law, family law, international child abduction and cross-border custody disputes, and technology and AI regulation. Dr. Hassanein serves as Vice President for North Africa at the Pan African Lawyers Union (PALU), where he contributes to strengthening the rule of law, safeguarding the independence of the legal profession, and enhancing cooperation among African bar associations. Combining judicial experience with strategic advocacy, he provides high-level advisory and representation in complex domestic and cross-border matters, grounded in legal precision, ethics, and a firm commitment to justice.
